The Ampleforth Society Weekend 2009
The Ampleforth Society Weekend was held from 16-18 October 2009 at Ampleforth andhas beena huge success. Over 160 OAs attended.
The programme included a dinner hosted by Fr Abbot with Sir George Bull (C54) as speaker, a rugby match between the OA Rugby Football Club and OA’s of the North, a football match betweenan Ampleforth XI and the OAs XI and a hockey match between an OA Girls 1st XIand the Ampleforth1st XIto name just a few highlights.Attendees at the Dinner onSaturday evening 17th October included: Fr Gabriel, Fr Hugh, Fr Dominic, Fr Adrian, Fr Jeremy, Fr Henry, Fr Francis, Fr Wulstan, John Willcox, Vic McLean, Chris Belsom,Keith Elliot, Geoff Thurman and Christopher Wilding.
