Manchester Hotpot 13 May
On May 13 Jozef Mycielski (O90, Director of Development) and Fr Hugh Lewis-Vivas (School Guestmaster) drove over to Manchester for the annual Hotpot, held this year at St James's Club, 45 Spring Gardens, Manchester.
This was a new venue after some difficulties last year and turned out to be an excellent choice. After drinks in the bar upstairs, the group moved over to a separate private dining area and around 37 persons sat down to a generous and delicious three course meal. Fr Gordon Beattie (D59) said grace and after the meal, Fr Hugh spoke for a few minutes on current developments in the monastery and school.
It was a most enjoyable and sociable evening and in view of the conspicuous success of the new arrangements, Jonathan Mather (J78) JM@propertyalliancegroup.com hopes to see numbers increase next year.
