17 May 2011
Family team raising money for NSPCC, Sightsavers and Alziemers Scotland
Will Hall (EW09), Tim Hall (E79), Zinnia Hall and Aidan Dow are
entering this years Rob Roy Challenege to raise money for charity.
The Rob Roy Challenge is one of Scotland's most successful
fundraising events. Covering 55 miles of the spectacular Rob Roy Way,
entrants walk 16 miles from Drymen, near Loch Lomond, north-east through
the Trossachs to Callander, where they switch to bikes for a 39 mile
cycle to Kenmore.
Now in its sixth year, the Rob Roy
Challenge has already raised over £1.8 million for good causes. The
Martin Currie Charitable Foundation has selected three fantastic
charities to benefit from the 2011 event: Alzheimer Scotland, NSPCC and
Sightsavers. For more details of the event, including the charities
that will benefit, please visit www.robroychallenge.com
