Lynn & Sophie (A09) Ryan's Great North Run
Raising money for the Neuro ICU at Leeds General Infirmary
The mother/daughter duo Lynn and Sophie (A09) Ryan will be entering this year's Bupa Great North Run.
The 2011 BUPA Great North Run Half Marathon takes place in Newcastle on Sunday 18th September. 52,000 runners will take to the streets of Newcastle, run across the iconic bridge on the Tyne and then onto the finish in South Shields. The Great North Run is the world's largest half marathon and has a unique atmosphere to match.
Contemporary of Sophie, Ben Cadwallader (J09) suffered a brain haemorrhage in October of last year and was treated by the Neuro ICU at Leeds General Infirmary. Sophie and Lynn are running to raise money for Ward 6, Neuro ICU at Leeds General Infirmary.
