Roger Tempest (C81) Wins Prestigious Restoration Award
Old Amplefordian Roger Tempest has recently been award the 2011 Historic Houses Association/Sotheby's Restoration Award for work on Aldourie Castle, located on the shore of Loch Ness.
The castle was taken over by Roger's company Rural Concepts in 2004, by October 2009 it was completely restored and is now available for holidays, house parties and corporate functions.
