Calling all Artists!
In May 2012
we have been invited to hold an exhibition of art at Castle Howard, North
Yorkshire. The theme of the exhibition will be ‘Ampleforth Art from the
21st Century’ and will include pieces from our current students at
both St Martin’s Ampleforth and Ampleforth College.
We would also like to
invite Old Amplefordians who left the College after 2000 to contribute to the
exhibition – if you, or someone you know, is an artist, sculptor or
photographer and would like to be considered for the exhibition, please contact
Claire in the Development Office on cee@ampleforth.org.uk.
The deadline for consideration is Thursday 1st December and the
exhibition itself will run from Thursday 3rd to Wednesday 23rd
May 2012. All contributions can be sold after the event and we will be
producing a programme to accompany the exhibition that will list a short bio of
all contributors.
We will also be looking for volunteers to help with the
logistics of the event – if you know of anyone who would welcome an opportunity
to help curate the exhibition, please do let us know!
