Alex Danvers Cycle Challenge - Raising money for Help for Heroes
Alex Danvers (EW11) and 13 other Exeter students will be cycling from London to Istanbul in aid for Help for Heroes. It is a mammoth 4,400km challenge, with the aim of raising £1 for every 100m cycled.
"This is for the charity Help for Heroes, a charity that I strongly believe in and want to actively raise money for in order to support our wounded soldiers. Many of you may know that my father is in the army and is currently serving, and to me personally raising for this charity is out of a personal sign of admiration towards people like my father and his peers, and indeed the wider community of the armed forces. Not only for the personal sacrifice that many of them today make, whether that be through injury or simply being on operations, but also for some who make the ultimate sacrifice.
So, please support us and Help for Heros and spare as much money as possible!
Once again many thanks.
Alex"
